Summon banner and trading

Read the banner card you are about to buy, because two October summon lists name different units at 30 percent, 1 percent, and 0.1 percent.

The in-game Index was reported at 30 units in October, with nine added on October 10. This guide covers the banners and the trade window. Individual cards are on the unit pages.

Two banner readings, same month

Both readings put Cameraman at 49.9% and Popcorn Cameraman at 15%. They do not agree after that.

Slot Index-style October reading Basic Crate menu reading
49.9% Cameraman Cameraman
30% Brown Cameraman Car Speakerman
15% Popcorn Cameraman Popcorn Cameraman
4% Large TV Man Large Speakerman
1% Titan Cameraman Laser Cameraman Car
0.1% Titan Cinemaman Upgrade to Cameraman Helicopter

The Basic Crate price on the menu reading is 100 Coins, or 900 for ten, and the pool rotates on a timer of about ten minutes. If the unit you named is not on the card, wait. Buying a different pool because the timer in a video has expired spends Coins on a result you did not want.

Titan Cinemaman's Index-style card, when that 0.1% name is the one you see, reads 1,000 to 1,400 damage, cooldown 2 seconds to 0.2 seconds, DPS 500 to 7,000, range 13 to 30, with about 2,820 copies in existence at that check.

October 10 mythics on the coin summon

Unit Reported max Note
Upgraded Brute Prototype 9,000 DPS, area 3,600 damage at 0.4 seconds. 2,250 DPS already at level 2 on that card.
Upgraded Videotapper Prototype 7,500 DPS Also written Video Tapper. Emerald laser, about 1,500 damage at 0.2 seconds.
Glitch Cameraman 6,000 DPS at 0.2 seconds Level 3 on that card is 1,000 damage at 0.5 seconds. One walkthrough prices the full investment near 13,500 match cash, with the last step jumping from 2,000 to 6,000 per second.

A separate card for Upgraded Titan Speakerman, a mythic area unit, reads 250 to 2,500 damage, cooldown 1 to 0.5, DPS 250 to 5,000, range 12 to 25, and about 2,150 copies. The code UpgradedTitanSpeakerman does not grant this unit.

TV Spider is not on the coin banner. It is the 0.2% Spider Crate pull, reported at 10,000 area DPS. Speaker Woman, from the Woman Crate, is reported around 3,500 area DPS with 25 range.

These DPS figures are October card readings. Another public tier page prints a different ladder, including a Cameraman at 3,300 final DPS, which does not match the starter card of about 100 DPS. This wiki keeps the card readings and does not average them.

What to build

Max level is the breakpoint on every card that prints both columns. Ten times the damage and half the cooldown is normal on the mythic examples. A level 3 Glitch out-damages a field of level 1 units, and the upgrade spends match cash, not Robux.

A practical board is one carry, one Scientist, one area body, and the rest of the match cash going into the carry. See Insane and boss waves for when Engineer replaces the cheap body.

Trading

Open Trading on the left of the lobby. The panel lists players in your server with a Trade button. Your inventory is on the left of the trade window. Add units from the Units or Inventory tabs, and gems from the diamond field. Both players press Accept.

Inspect a card before you accept. Cards show damage, cooldown, DPS, and range as a base-to-upgraded range, plus a sell value in Coins. A basic Speakerman example reads damage 10 to 50, cooldown 1 to 0.5, DPS 10 to 100, range 6 to 10, and a sell value of 60 Coins.

Titan Cameraman is the trade benchmark people price offers against. Existence counts on mythic cards matter more than the DPS of a basic unit. If the Trading button is absent, trades are not available in that lobby, whatever a video showed.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Cameraman Tower Defense free?

Yes. Matches cost nothing. Robux is optional and buys coin bundles, a mythic pack, a 2x speed pass, and skip passes. Coins for summons also come from wins, a one-time group reward, and codes.

Who makes the game?

Aligators Games, the Roblox group credited on the experience, with aibat303e and iop_dev named in the description. This wiki is not run by them.

How do I start a match?

In the lobby, step onto a match platform. The official description says that starts a match. Then place a Cameraman or another unit you own where it can hit the toilets, and beat the waves.

Are Coins and match cash the same?

No. Coins are the lobby currency for summons, crates, and code rewards. Match cash is what you spend during a wave on placement and upgrades. A crate purchase does not pay the upgrade cost of the unit you pulled.

Does the X2 in the title double damage?

The public title still includes X2, and one October guide describes a double-coins counter on the match HUD. That is not a damage multiplier, and the game page does not publish a rate. Read the live counter before you plan a farm.
