Spider Update and the October 12 stamp

The October 10 Spider Update added nine units, gems, and quests. A later October 12 Roblox stamp does not list what changed.

The experience was created on August 26, 2026. Roblox recorded an update at 2026-10-10, and another at 2026-10-12 19:58 UTC. Only the October 10 drop has a published in-game log in the guides. The October 12 stamp does not name a unit, a map, or a code.

October 10, 2026: Spider Update

The lobby Update Log reading for that patch lists:

  • Upgraded Brute Prototype, Upgraded Videotapper Prototype, and Glitch Cameraman on the coin summon.
  • A Woman Crate that drops from matches: Camera Woman, Speaker Woman, TV Woman.
  • A Spider Crate bought with gems. TV Spider is the 0.2% slot.
  • Gems and Quests. Quests unlock at 20 or more wins.
  • Modificators.
  • A 2x speed pass at 99 Robux, and a Play Again button.

Nine units in total: three coin-summon mythics, three spider-crate units, three woman-crate units. The Index count after that patch was reported as 30.

The title badge UPD+X2 was already on the game during that week. One guide describes an X2 event counter on the match HUD as double coins. Do not multiply damage by two because the title says X2.

October 12, 2026: stamp only

A games-record read at 2026-10-12T19:58:33.896Z shows a newer updated time than October 10. The description was still the original pitch: step on a platform, place cameramen, beat the waves. Visits on that payload were 9,652,528 and favorites were 61,222. Those counts move, and neither number is a patch note.

After you join, open the Update Log in the top of the lobby. If it lists changes that this page does not, trust the log for that session. Then recheck three things this patch cycle has changed before: the code list, the crate percents, and the mode names on the vote screen.

The code names are the earlier patch trail

RELEASE, UPDATE1, UPDATE2, UPDATE3, and BUGFIXES are named like the update cycle. They are code strings, not a full changelog. Which of them still pay is covered in how to redeem. A new title does not tell you which string is active.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Cameraman Tower Defense free?

Yes. Matches cost nothing. Robux is optional and buys coin bundles, a mythic pack, a 2x speed pass, and skip passes. Coins for summons also come from wins, a one-time group reward, and codes.

Who makes the game?

Aligators Games, the Roblox group credited on the experience, with aibat303e and iop_dev named in the description. This wiki is not run by them.

How do I start a match?

In the lobby, step onto a match platform. The official description says that starts a match. Then place a Cameraman or another unit you own where it can hit the toilets, and beat the waves.

Are Coins and match cash the same?

No. Coins are the lobby currency for summons, crates, and code rewards. Match cash is what you spend during a wave on placement and upgrades. A crate purchase does not pay the upgrade cost of the unit you pulled.

Does the X2 in the title double damage?

The public title still includes X2, and one October guide describes a double-coins counter on the match HUD. That is not a damage multiplier, and the game page does not publish a rate. Read the live counter before you plan a farm.
